Yahoo! recently contacted me about a particular post's content. As such I was forced to remove the offending post. Without restrictions means what it means but within reason, guys. UHPS is NOT in an Adult Catagoy and therefore we must watch the content that we place on its servers. I remind you all that Yahoo! is kind enough to allow us the use of those servers and we must respect their rules as if they were allowing us to use their homes. ^_^ If you have any questions about what is acceptable for UHPS, and any other non-AC group, please consult the Y! Terms of Service (TOS).

Posting Files to the FILES SECTION If you want to upload any of your own fics to the group Files section please do this before you do: Add a folder to the Fics section of the Files Area and Name it with your pen name. If you want, add a folder for each of your WiPs within YOUR folder then add the chapters in that folder. Singles can be added to your folder (no sub folder is needed, though to keep it neat you might want to add a "singles" folder and put them in there). Number 2 is optional. You can ignore it at will. Number 1 is required. Fic found in the Files Section proper will be asked to be relocated and if they are not in two weeks then they will be removed. You will be told if they are. Just a suggestion. Add your WiPs (Works in Progress) to their own folders as this will make it easier for those who join later to go back and read the chapters that they missed. If you are going to upload any pics to the groups Files section they must go in the Pics Folder and you might want to consider doing these: Add a folder to the Pics folder with your pen/artist name as the name of the folder. Section your folder with other folders - according to what the pics are about, i.e., Harry and Draco, Harry and Ron, Misc. Announce your newly uploaded pic to the group - Either with Yahoo! Groups' own "send notice to group about this file" located at the bottom of the upload screen, by emailing the group about it, or both, just tell us that it is there. These options are OPTIONAL. Do any or all that you like. Just remember that your pics must be in the Pics folder. If you have any questions please feel free to contact a Moderator.

Story Ratings Due to a nasty run in with Yahoo! Groups, UHPS has started to require a rating on each story. The Ratings listed below and you can find more info on them here. G Fics that you would read to your 5 year old (...you know what we mean) PG Fics that you would let your 8 year old read (...you know what we mean) PG~13 Fics that you would let your teenager read R Fics with Mild Adult Content, Language, Scenes, Ect. NC~17 Fics with Strong Adult Content, Language, Scenes, Ect. (17+) AO Adults Only - This Rating is not yet accepted!
